Each Fish is handmade using combinations of vintage cotton, polyester, and wool fabrics. There will never be two alike, each having it’s own assigned name and personality to match it’s array of extraordinary colors.
Norma the Fish
Mai loves tea parties and dress up, and has a lipstick collection of a movie star. Mai has two tea sets: one for every day use, and an extra special tea set that she saves for special occasions such as private two-person birthday parties with her besties. Mai is a wonderful hostess whether it’s a party of two or a party of twenty. Mai is a Virgo.

Marley is a hungry little fish. As a result, he’s always full of energy. He loves the water sports at the orphanage and usually is picked as the team captain. Parker loves grunge music. He’s originally from Hawaii and loves to fix things. He’s always been popular with the girls but prefers to spend his time playing video games and eating peanuts and cheetos. He’s not much of socialite, but he is sensitive and thoughtful. Parker works doing what he loves, as a mechanic and is pretty much the go-to guy for an problems you may have mechanical or otherwise as he is a fantastic sounding board. Parker is Pisces.

Ming is often called Ming-Ming by close friends. He is an easy-going fish that loves to daydream and draw in the sand when he is not playing hide and seek with his friends. Ming hopes to be a P.E. teacher or coach pee-wee the swim team. He volunteers regularly in order to gain experience and trust with the teachers and parents. Ming adores penaut butter and jelly sandwiches which he likes to soak in a glass of milk first before drinking it like a milkshake. Ming is a Cancer.

Kramer is a fun fish. He always has new ideas he wants to share with his friends, and he’s good at recruiting them to help. Last summer he raised enough money to buy birthday cake for everyone’s birthdays in the orphanage just by selling his signature. He even had enough left over to give the staff at the orphanage a Christmas bonus. That Kramer is a socialite. When he’s relaxing, he’s usually making toothpick sculptures or collecting signatures to ban caviar from the world of seafood eaters. Kramer enjoys marmalade and toast as his favorite snack. Kramer is a Scorpio.

Jenny is not like most whales. She’s extra small for her age, but she doesn’t let that stop her. She is the president of the latin club, cross country team, and neighborhood watch. She also hosts a halloween parade every year for the local children. Jenny enjoys painting at the end of the day to relax and generally is painting a greeting card for upcoming birthdays, anniversaries, or just because. Jenny loves avocado, tomato and tahini sandwiches. Jenny is a Sagittarius.

Dulsa prefers bull fighting over ballet, karate over kittens, boxing over babies, respectively. She is a tiny fish who can pack a punch and spends every spare moment refining her boxing skills. She lost a tooth in a simulated fight once, but it was just a baby tooth. Still, she was proud to share her battle scar with the world and documented it well with video and photo documentary. Candy likes Candy! Candy canes, candy corns, peanut brittle and anything with sugar. Maybe she’s just living up to her name? Whatever the reason, you can be sure she will always have a pixie stick or gummy bear ready to share. Candy was the top swimmer of her graduating class…from kindergarten. Candy loves a good secret and she can keep secrets well. She aspires to one day work as an investigator for the CIA (although she doesn’t know the word for it yet). She decorates every party, organizes every counter, and is an avid space-saver. If there was a word like “green thumb” for how creative she is, it would certainly fit her. Maybe rainbow thumb? Jovie loves salami and walnuts, and she has a soft spot for Red velvet cheesecake. Jovie is a Scorpio.
